They were a common sight flying low (usually in pairs IIRC) over Silverstone circuit in the 80's and '90's. One day my dad decided to find out where they were based, and we had a great time watching them take off and land from outside the perimeter fence - under the watchful eye of a base policeman in a huge truck. Sad to see how the base has deteriorated now:
