Per the title, I have a resin model which has a few scuffs on the bodywork where the packaging has, annoyingly, picked up on the body in transit. Is there a way to repair this?

Well beyond my ability. It's a Tamiya 1/12 scale.

It's one of these. There's very light scratching in the panels where the plastic packaging has rubbed. I'm struggling to get a picture of it.

Is it painted or coloured plastic? If it is painted you could try so fine polishing powder http://www.tamiya.com/english/news/news0401/news5.... You could also try a Micro Mesh kit http://www.sylmasta.com/acatalog/Micro-Mesh-Hobby-...
