Cheap R/C Model Boat Kit

My Scouts have decided they would like to do their Model Maker badge and build some r/c boats. They have to build these from kits (or scratch, but I really don't think I have the time or they have the patience for that).

Can anyone suggest some good cheap kits? As we'll presumably have to pay for r/c gear separately (although I have plenty lying around) I'm thinking about under £50 per kit. I can't seem to find much out there.

Boat 'Kits' are few and far-between and those which I am aware of are several times your budget.

Your budget allows for an entry-level RTR boat from China, I think you're going to struggle.

Probably not what you wanted to hear, but you're having difficulty finding something because I don't believe it exists.

Any of the Glenn Guest plans for warships etc all are easy builds. I keep looking at this on E Bay as well.
Might do you a bulk buy price?

Thanks, some good ideas there. I have ordered one of the ones from Ebay to see how easily it goes together.
