I feel your pain 61GT but only because last year I bought a BDR with clams kit - and they are getting quite expensive now! My plan is to paint it up as my Seven is.

Indeed this is a great thread and watching with interest. Not started mine, got a Technic Unimog to do first, but I can see they are going to take a fair amount of time and patience.
