Glad it's sorted. Thanks for the offer, but I've already got two Airfix GR4's (for the bin), plus a new-tool Tiger Moth that I can't be bothered to correct. Once that's offloaded I'll be free of Airfix aircraft kits once and for all.

I keep my failures and use them as a test bed. Bodged a paint job and physical build mosquito sanded back (past my ability to repair at the moment), I tested brushes on to get the thinnest spread that looked good, then a matt and gloss coat test etc.
