Elf petrol promotion Meccano kits 1998ish

Back in the late 90s Elf were doing a set of Meccano kits(1511-1516) and I had the cunning plan to collect all 6 along with the flyer advertising sheets to keep unopened and pay for my retirement(or loaf of bread...). After buying the recent Shell/Logo kits I thought about this little stash and had a quick Google and got one result, ONE!

I'm curious as to why these have vanished from the collectors interest, has anyone got any info please?

I've got those still in my desk at work! not boxed though, and the instructions for the red one appear to be missing. It's just blown my mind realising they've been there for 17 years.

Have got all of these elf promotion kits in mint condition in unopened boxes together with the advertising flyer, does anyone have any idea if they are in demand and how much may they be worth.

I had a look on Ebay a while ago and there was hardly a hit - maybe £30 on a good day so it's going to need a bit more "maturing" to be our pensions!
