Pete Waterman's model collection for auction
Discussion
A large number of Pete Waterman's model railway locomotives are up for auction, some stunning looking items:

It appears he wants to put the money back into his collection of full size steam locos:
“These full-size engines won't be back in steam for ten years,” he admits. “I’m 68 now and this is probably the last chance I will have to restore the engines held by the trust. So I'm making sure there is enough money in ten years’ time to continue the job.”
and the stuff on sale is apparently only 10% of his collection :O

It's just been on BBC News. What a top bloke Pete Waterman really is. He said that he's selling the models to pay for apprentices. To build and maintain steam engines.
Really hope he gets top dollar for all of his models even if I'd prefer them to be very low prices so I can buy them all.
