And I thought the detail on the new tool Airfix Tiger Moth was pretty good, but the Eduard kit is staggering.

How come things have moved on so much in the last few years? CAD tools, CNC machines and injection molding simulation have been around for a couple of decades so it can't all be down to computers being used more. Kits being aimed at adult hobbyists rather than as children's toys? I guess at 13 I'd have been less interested in the detail if it had been available.

Eduard really are raising the bar in 1/72. It will be interesting to see how well it goes together.

Their prices are not that excessive either (take note, Hasegawa).

According to the review:

"Having built that test shot, I know this model builds beautifully..."

It works out at just over £12 per aircraft (there are 4 in the box), which is incredible value considering what you get.

Do they make you buy four aircraft? That's a bit naughty.

Is the kit available as a single model?

4 aircraft for £48 can't grumble with that.

That's not bad at all. The 354 is quite a pretty little aeroplane.
