Thunder Tiger Radio Compatibility.

Hello all,

I have a 1/5 Thunder Tiger Nitro Ducati with their own "Jaguar" radio gear (stick tx) installed.
Unfortunately during a house move the bottom of the transmitter has been smashed, removing all the battery terminals etc. Basically, its fked.
I popped the crystal into an Acoms TX I hade but was surprised to see that it didn't work.
I always thought that all transmitters would be compatible will all receivers as long as the frequency was the same.
Anyway, can anybody advise a compatible transmitter? or if necessary a complete replacement system? It has standard size servos but a mini receiver. Preferably the stick type as I don't like pistol grips.
I had read something about Team Associated being the same but I can't confirm this, and anyway, it seems just as difficult to get these.

Just get a 2.4GHz transmitter & receiver, replace the receiver in the car and your good to go.
