Cheers for the bump!

Not really had much to update, hence no recent posts. Plus I've been pretty busy with other things recently. The little layout project has taken a step back. However there's a few train related things I can update on!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ls3uyGkGJw - Quick video here of trains running on the layout in it's current state.

I've also made a few purchases recently. I've been really impressed with the little Bagnall shunter so decided I wanted another little steam 0-4-0. A more recent example than the circa 2004 GWR 0-4-0 I have that is awful. I spotted a little 2014 collectors club loco on ebay for not a lot of money so went for it..

It's boxed in as new condition and I'm really pleased with the little thing. The detail is basic but the quality is top notch. It also runs beautifully. Pictured is some new rolling stock I've purchased too. Only Railroad stuff but a nice addition and keeping costs low. Also not pictured but added to my collection is a new hornby brake van, dapol box van and some TTA tank wagons, but those aren't intended for the layout.

Oh and something totally unrelated but still relevant.. It was my birthday earlier this week and the missus bought me one of these ...

I'm a big fan of Lego and always fancied buying one of the train sets, plus it's something I will happily let the kids play with and not worry about. I'm too protective of the OO stuff. You don't get a lot in the box but it's a start. Suprisingly fantastic quality. Feels really solid and runs amazingly smooth.
