My entire collection of cars I’ve driven, mostly owned except for the R8 and TTS. Couldnt find a 1:43 of my 640i, only have that in 1:18!

I have never done this! My idea is I buy models of cars I CAN'T afford, the real ones of cars I can!

But I could get most which would be:

1976 Beetle - Turquoise
1987 MKII Ford Fiesta - Black
1959 Beetle - Pale Green
1956 Beetle - Polar Silver
1987 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 - Grey
1996 Peugeot 106 GTI 16V - Blaze Yellow
1997 Honda prelude 2.2 VTI (No chance!)
2002 Renault Clio 172 - Silver
2004 Renault Clio 182 - Black
2002 Subaru Impreza STI 7 - Rally Blue
2003 Lotus Elise 111S - Pearl Yellow
2011 Mini Cooper D JCW - Red
2013 Mini Cooper D JCW - Dark Blue
2012 Mini Cooper SD - Grey
2015 Mini Cooper SD - Black

Just the Clio 182s would be tough I think!

Prompted by this thread I've just done this, ish. I'm not going to bother trying to chase the Rover 420 as that was an awful shed but I've got between close enough and spot on with everything else.

The close enough is that three out of the six are the wrong colour and the insurers wouldn't touch me for a 2.8i Capri when I was 17... Do I leave them as is or get them repainted?

Doing this slowly in 1:18- am interested in other models, too, not just the ones I've owned. But just arrived is a Daytona grey Audi RS4 to go with its predecessor, a 996 C4S. Need to take a photo!

In my case, the models are nigh-on exact replicas- right colours/options, LHD etc. without the need for custom work. Next on the list would be a black RRS (interior would need repainting, plus a lot of other detail changes and an SLK which would need a respray too...

It's a bit of fun really, but also a nice reminder that I've been fortunate to own cars that are interesting enough for companies to make scale models of!
