Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere (scolling back through the pages with that monster table is a nightmare!) - what is the next step on the potential group buy? When will we know if there is a deal to be done and get commitment on delivery dates? Just looking to ascertain whether to buy direct from Lego on day of release and get some VIP points or stick with the group buy. Cheers!

Ok....Just a refresh for those of you who are late to the party.

Launch/Delivery - I will get stock 7/10days before official launch. For this set it looks to be 1st August, so I will be able to deliver for this date (hopefully before). LEGO have announced online that they will be retailing it from June 1st - there is nothing I can do about this. This is simply them trying to cash in on it before every other retailer gets it...
They also say that it may be launched in other countries before August 1st, but I cannot get more info on this.

Price - At the moment I am still totally unaware of the cost of all August Launch sets. I have to place my launch orders based on the RRP. So....its impossible for me to confirm a price this early on - However one can only assume margins will be similar to that of other flagship sets in previous years. If this is the case I will try to achieve a 15-20% discount off RRP. Therefore for those of you asking, the price will be substantially better than 5% VIP points works out at, you just might have to wait a bit.

I was thinking the same, as its getting rather unwieldy. But in fairness in previous years its been handy to keep a record and allowed us to keep an eye on the people signing up. Also if for some reason LEGO drop a clanger and restrict stock it at least gives us a fair way to distribute what I get. But next time we'll come up with a better way (We have a new website with much better functionality which I am sure can be used somehow - however this wasn't live when the list was born!)

Hi Ash,

Can you please check the table.

Myself along with jumbo_vx were both down on the list as numbers 131 after V8 Animal (also number 131) for a 911.

Suspect the table may have suffered from a slight lack of configuration control as both of our requests appear to have dropped off. Can you please assist with amending/correcting it
