Just seen an ad for the Eaglemoss Marvel Movie figurines magazine collection. What do people make of these figures. I love marvel and am tempted I think it is £13.99 for a "premium" fort nightly sub and you receive an additional 5 iron man suit figurines.

I think they look ok, my 3 year old son is into all things Marvel at the moment so we have ordered the first issue from our local news agents as it is Iron Man. Wont be getting all of them, just the characters he likes, depending on how they look.

Similar here. My six year old loves Marvel. We'll get the first, discounted Iron Man figure then see how it goes. His pocket money won't stretch to the usual RRP pricing.

Sam.

I myself only bought the first copy due to Iron Man.

The quality seems quite good. Can tell they were hand painted but will make a nice addition to my man cave!

I tried to get one yesterday at the WH Smith at the retail park in Stratford. I had to ask the staff and was advised that they had only had 5 and they had sold out very quickly.

We picked ours up yesterday and yes you can tell they are hand painted. Spotted another one in Asda while shopping and it seems the painting is quite inconsistent. Still it has quite a good likeness to Tony Stark. If only I had decent figurine painting skills!
Might have to get Black Widow depending how good the model looks in the flesh.

Here are some pictures of the figurine. It's quite heavy and has a nice felt cover underneath the base.

The detail is nice and crisp, however when you compare it to the pictures in the magazine of their show model you notice a few differences. Head isn't angled down. Face isn't frowning as much and the goatee looks more Musketeer than Stark. No blue tint round arc reactor and repulsors, plus they missed some red paint on the knee caps. Minor things, some of which can be corrected with paint.
