That's great to see.
I keep looking at the AT-AT but was waiting for someone else to get one to make sure the Lepin version didn't have any major issues.

That's another one added onto the wanted list.

That is good to see - the last time I saw someone showing the legs walking it was just slipping on the floor and could not get traction - it was supposed to be from the lack of the weight from the rest of the build not being present but yours works really well!

How come they have to have SO MANY awesome sets at once?!

I know!

The feet have the circular 4 stud disks on them, I am sure traction could be improved but I have a feeling a certain amount of slip is expected.

First lot of mini figures have arrived. Quite pleased with them. They aren't quite lego quality but good enough.

Got Ghostbusters, Ninjago and Harry Potter sets on the way.

Ive got the Ghostbusters, Guardians of the Galaxy & Big Hero6 minifigure sets here.
The ghostbusters are not too bad but the set I got had a few of the backpack pieces wrong/missing.

The Big Hero6 & Guardians of the Galaxy figures are really nice but the groot figure is massive & not like a minifigure.

Its funny if you look closely at the ghostbusters all the names are slightly differently spelt in the same way they did the star wars/star wnrs.

I got a few minifigure display cases too.
I will post some photos of them & the differences between the lele & non branded cases.
Basically the lele cases have a lele emblem moulded onto the front/back clear sheets that causes distortions where the non branded (eab I think) all the panels are perfectly clear and distortion free.
With the panels being the same I will use the pieces with the lele emblem at the back of the cases as they are all the same sizes.

Just gone for (two) of these. Lepin 21007.

I went for the super cheap delivery option (20-40 days) as its £10 less than DHL. Lets hope that wasn't a mistake!
Arrived today - that's only 8 days, and with DHL in any case it seems.

Well, I purchased the entire Lepin line of Amusement Park sets.

I have to say the colours are identical to Friends. The blocks go together well.

There are some issues, however, A couple of hair pieces for the figures are different (but close!).

The blue technic pins, pictured above, are what allow the Ferris Wheel cars to swing. The Lepin ones are very stiff and do not allow the cars to swing. You have to replace them with proper Lego pins in order to have a functioning Ferris Wheel.

Also, the wheels (train wheels 50254) on the Roller Coaster do not roll. I had to take a round needle file to mine to get them to roll better. I will be replacing them with actual Lego ones (it's not a lot of fun for an little girl to build a beautiful looking set and the main features do not function ….).

You get what you pay for sometimes - still, the very little amount of money it costs to replace these parts still makes Lepin very attractive.

[*Normally, I would not have bought the sets (only retired Lego), but I got all of the the amusement park themed sets delivered via DHL for the price of just the roller coaster and being as though I am a grad student with a family and whose daughter really wanted those sets and has been going through a very tough time at school, attempt to justify, attempt to justify, attempt to justify).*]

On the topic of roller coasters and Lego compatible, check this out on Kickstarter!

"The Cyclone is a working roller coaster model kit that is compatible with the world's leading building block system."

Made a start on the VW Camper.

So far 3 pieces have been the wrong colour and one slightly miss-formed. Other than that Im very happy with it.

Its quite a fun build too.

I also bought the light kit from Aliexpress. I think I'm going to have to butcher it to install it.

Exactly my experience with a DeCool technic set, looks (almost) the same, but any moving bits are waaay too crude for it to function like it should

Whoop, Death Star in the house. Invoiced at $15 so no tax to pay. Bloody huge box. Anyone on here built it ? Any tips or problems to look out for ??

Whilst I made it a rule not to buy Lepin if it was a current set (and I already have a legit Death Star), the AliExpress seller who didn't ship my Imperial Start Destroyer (because it contains magnets, so DHL won't ship it!) gave me credit against a nother set.

For the extra $10 I have this incoming too. The legit one is a keeper - so they can build and play with this one!

Will let you know how we get on - but still wading through the UCS Falcon build!

Well, considering this version of the Death Star is not the current version, you have nothing to worry about.

Is the Death Star you already have this older version or the new version?

just finished the green grocer shop. (lele). Again it's all excellent quality. I've learnt not to panic now when think some pieces are missing as they are almost invariably there somewhere, and they turn up sooner or later. Town hall next. Not sure what I'm going to do with them all, probably flog them after a while, but they're fun to build as they take lots of hours if you aren't hurrying.
