Good morning all,

did you know that even on AliExpress you can ask for discount ? The seller that I use very often, Gelida, if you message her with what you want to buy, she will reply to you and offer you a discount (dont expect the discount to be huge, but at least it is a gesture). You just have to add the product you want in your shopping cart but don't pay yet. Just inform the seller and he can adjust the price. Only then, you pay ! Just say you are coming from this forum and give my handle name (so I can ask for more discount from her next time ... lol).

Also, I made Thailand my home for many years and after having my packages from AliExpress checked all the time by customs and had to pay indecent taxes, I went to look for a shop selling Lepin products in Bangkok Chinatown and found one. It is cheaper than buying directly from AliExpress. Will some of you guys would be interested to buy sets from this source ? If yes, just let me know what you wish and where is the country you would like the products to be shipped and I will ask the shop owner what price he can offer. It will probably be shipped by normal post, no DHL or express mail but it should be cheaper. Just send me a PM. Also, as it is in Thailand, if you want the latest Lepin sets, you will always have a delay between China and Thailand, probably 1 or 2 weeks before the products are available here.

Grant, you play Zelda on the new Nintendo Switch or the Wii U ? What is better ? Horizon Zero Dawn or Zelda ? This is the games I will play when I finally go back home in 1 week. I also have to finish Unchartered 4, Tomb Raider 2 and Resident Evil 7 !!! I wish the days were longer ...

Also, I was missing nearly 200 pieces from the set 05034 (The Imperial Shuttle Tyridium UCS), after contacting the seller, she contacted the factory and received the missing parts. They are now on the way to my home. Finally I will be able to display this set !

Not played a lot of Zelda on my Wii u but it seems fun. Zero Dawn is very good and looks stunning. Well worth playing.

just finished the green grocer shop. (lele). Again it's all excellent quality. I've learnt not to panic now when think some pieces are missing as they are almost invariably there somewhere, and they turn up sooner or later. Town hall next. Not sure what I'm going to do with them all, probably flog them after a while, but they're fun to build as they take lots of hours if you aren't hurrying.

I'd take a full set off your hands if you ever do come to sell it, always wanted to give them a try smile.

You are FAR too organized …

Yet, I can see a serious problem in all that.

No room for the actual Death Star. (you'll see what I mean when you start)

You've made better progress than me.

I'm building mine at work though.

Right that's me ready, the Manuel is a bit rubbish, far to condensed. Wish they numbered bags the way Lego do. Would be so much easier.

That's another thing I forgot! You will also need room for the manual …

The Lego manual is no different, really. The colours are not good on the Lego one, either. You can get the digital pdf version of it online and if you have a tablet or large cell phone you can use that instead of the very large manual.

Don't worry - that's because he's from Barcelona.

I would highly recommend this method. Did this for genuine Lego SSD + Death Star and Lepin MF. Saves a lot of space and you can zoom in for tricky bits if needed.

Just got a Lepin Space Shuttle, Vader Tie and Blockade Runner, which to start with smile

I'm well on with the Tie Interceptor build and so far so good with everything fitting & working as expected.
Just making a start on the wing panels & so far there has been one incorrect coloured part that is fully hidden inside the build.
Overall so far another really enjoyable Lepin build.

Ive been using a PDF for the build and not the Lepin manual as the colour difference between the dark grey and black is impossible.

Something not grey was next in the requirements, so have ordered Diagon Alley for youngest daughter for her 13th Birthday in May, so might be more of a delay for this one to be built smile

I finished my Lepin "Star Paln" UCS R2-D2 last night, and I'm very impressed. I ordered it through Gelida on Aliexpress, based on some of the posts here. It was delivered just over a week after I ordered it, mainly because I had to force a delay of delivery from DHL for 2 days as it required a signature.
Anyway, I inventoried all the parts before I started and they were all there in the right colours, with a huge stack of spares (and not just the small pieces Lego give you).
The build quality is very good IMHO, the parts clutch together very weel, with no problems apart from a few minor issues with some of the technic elements, either being a bit too tight, or a bit too loose.
All in all, for the price I'm really impressed with Lepin and Gelida as an online store, so I'll definitely get another Lepin set from them again, I really want the UCS MF, but the size is actually putting me off at the moment.......thoughts?

Well, I placed an order from H&H (Ewok Village) and another from ToysLepin Block Store (Republic Gunship). Both DHL shipping.

I ordered the Republic Gunship from ToysLepin Block Store because they had sold quite a few, H&H did not have any sales of this item (so I was wondering if they had it in stock, was too anxious to message them and wait for a reply) and all the rave reviews of how fast ToysLepin stores ship.

ToysLepin was more expensive than H&H. The list price was the same but H&H's list price included DHL shipping, while ToysLepin wanted an extra $10 to ship via DHL.

Well, according to the DHL tracking information, H&H shipped before ToysLepin.

I know things here are predominantly Lepin but I just stumbled across "Jekca" - it makes Lego look cheap.
