Not strictly Lepin but in the spirit...

So far no missing pieces, though I did have to drill out Elsa and Anna's heads to get them on biggrin quality is not lego but perfectly good enough, just the odd dimple here and there.

All delivered for less than £40.00 and two very happy kids, worth every penny.

No not quite, they are available to pre-order but not in stock, even if thats what the seller claims. Lepin have announced them but not released yet. I was caught out by this with the Falcon.

That's been down to £50 for the Lego version on Amazon - £40 seems a false economy but I guess you can probably combine shipping to make it cheaper.

£55.00 on amazon <£40.00 for two sets from China, Haunted Mansion and Frozen ice palace too, so not too bad I think! And their pocket money has been saved for months to buy these so they definitely don't think it's false economy and that what matters.

Well yes, it's not even in stock at Amazon anyway now. But it has been £49.99 there. Do you mean you paid £40 for two sets? I'm not going to bang the drum about the morality of knock-offs, but a £10 saving to get pieces you have to drill to fit doesn't really seem worth it to me! Lepin's quality control mostly seems to be good, other than missing pieces. What brand was it?

Er yes as above, two sets for £37.00... And I only had to run a drill through to clear the flash line from the cast, really not the end of the world. Brand is Bela the only one that does the scooby doo lego.

Well you didn't explain it very well - there's only a pic of the Mystery Mansion box and a reference to £40! And you confused me further with your misuse of the '<' symbol laugh

Just taken delivery of the lepin millennium falcon 05033 from susengo, was about 10 days from order.
Its very well packaged but my god so many bags, going to take a days to sort .

This is my second delivery from susengo got the porsche gt3, not had any issues only thing was £3 import tax this time.

Im over the moon can't actually believe i have the ucs falcon for just over £140, who cares if its fake haha.
WTF? I've been waiting more than 6 weeks for mine!

May end up with two now :-o
mine just arrives from Susengo ordered on 26th August so its been a long wait for a big box

The sorting begins !
Someone at SusengGo doesn't like me then!

Opened a dispute and they are now issuing a refund. I imagine they got stock and sent what they had out, now have no stock again. Annoying as my order was placed before yours wink

So placed another with Gelida trading. However it's still showing as 'Awaiting shipment - Processing time 8 days etc.' - though this in some ways is better than immediately sending me a DHL tracking number which doesn't exist I guess.

Part of the joys of AliExpress I guess. Finding a decent supplier seems a total lottery frown

I think the way feedback and metrics are run on AliExpress the sellers feel they have to issue a tracking number very fast to make it seem like they are delivering on time. My new seller Dollhousebuilder has done the same thing, issed a non-working UPS number after a day, then issed a second one after 4 days that actually works. I am pretty sure it will turn up ok but its not a good system.

I'm more irritated that my order sat there untouched for 7 weeks, whereas GordonS got his within 10 days frown

Part of the issue may be that I also ordered the SSD, which I don't think has been released yet (has it?). THey may have been waiting for both to be in before shipping. If so, I have a similar issue with Gelida as I've now ordered both from them too.

The SSD is definately available, and has been for a few weeks. I would have made 2 separate orders because they charge shipping per item, so no upside but its easier to track or cancel. If my seller works out ok I will ask about combined shipping for future buys as that would make 2 large sets a lot cheaper overall.

I've had a few kits come through from various suppliers.

No problems other than with a Lepin 05005. The supplier sent a Bela 10465 kit instead. I haven't opened the packets but the quality doesn't look as good as Lepin, the grey pieces are more washed out in colour and the quality of the plastic and mouldings don't look as good in comparison. I'm not overly upset as it was only £15 delivered but be aware of the practice, suppliers not sending what you've bought. You can raise a complaint but my understanding is that you have to return the kit at your cost for a refund.

Yiwu Teng Can was the trader.

I've worked out what they do is issue an internal tracking number from them to some kind of exporter, this is the number they obviously use to please Aliexpress, once it leaves HK they are given the DHL/UPS number which they update to the system.

That one one day after I placed my order? Did you get any tracking info other than the original (invalid) DHL number?
Tracking was crappie, just a call from DHL demanding monies (£3.01) then an email confirming delivery

No excuse then! smile

My switch to Gelida doesn't seem to be any better. Still says 'processing' frown Shipping was 'free' for both (or accounted for in price), so no odds whether they ship as one or two consignments I guess?

Has anyone else got a 'reliable' supplier for the UCS Falcon (05033) or SSD (05028)?

According to the KO Bricks post on Facebook which had the pics that Mike posted above, Lepin has moved on to discarded members-own-creation designs from Ideas. Quite an interesting way forwards....
