Hi everyone,

I ordered the Millennium Falcon last week but the DHL tracking is still showing as "No result found for your DHL query. Please try again." This is after 7 days. The seller was SuSenGo Toys. Does anyone know if or when this tracking information gets updated or how long delivery is taking please?

Many thanks.

See my (and other) posts about Susengo. They give tracking details, but are invalid. After 6 weeks of waiting (no contact from seller despite trying), I had to dispute the order for a refund. It's odd, because some others ordered from them and received the goods?

My feeling is that they had limited stock which all went, now they are waiting for resupply.

I have since ordered with two other sellers, but one (Gelida) is stuck on 'processing' and the other (Dollhousebuilder) has move to 'shipped' but shipping details are again invalid.

Patience is required with AliExpress it seems....

@Stig

My Falcon turned up from Dollhousebuilder on Friday. The 'simple' cardboard box was reasonably sturdy. UPS wanted £16 including an £11 processing fee (like RM). I have checked a few important parts like the mast railings, radar dish and they are ok. Not sure when I will start the build as I will have to clear out some space.

Thanks Colin. As it happens, I got a message from them earlier about the customs declaration as they said the package was 13.5kg?!?! I've ordered the SSD and UCD Falcon from them, so was expecting quite a large parcel - but that seems VERY heavy smile I think they may have meant 3.5kg?

The tracking number doesn't work yet - but at least they've contacted me smile

Nothing from Gelida yet though...

No, 13.5kg will be about right if its both ! The manuals are A3 and would be about 2-3kg together. I took a photo of the 90ish packets of bricks for the Falcon on my hall floor and it covered about 20 square feet.

Weirdly, my package was labelled as 0.5kg, so I was a bit nervous before I picked it up.

Ah - that would explain it! Can't put this one in the loft then or risk the ceilings coming down! smile

Doh! That will teach me to read my emails properly, it was Gelida who had been in touch re. the parcel size!

Now to wait for Dollhousebuilder...

Is the correct answer.

Ordered both the SSD (from yiwu teng) and the falcon (from susengo)
Takes a couple of days for money to clear for alipay, approx 1 week to dispatch item.
And 4 days to get it delivered by DHL in my case. With no import tax. biggrin UK.

I think the fact that everyone wants the latest/newest release UCS sets slows it down aswell.

I am the most un patient person i know. So just give it time and you will get what you ordered.

Hope that helps anyone waiting!

And yes they will weigh about 14 kilos for both, theyre bloody massive yikes

And edit it will take about 5 days before tracking number works, on dhl anyway.

Ordered my ucs falcon ages ago, had a couple of messages early on about waiting for stock etc.

Then the acceptance time got extended to 40days last week, sent a message to seller with no response.

Today got a text from dhl saying to expect a parcel on Thursday, Ali status still saying awaiting shipment but I haven't ordered anything else!
Will see what Thursday brings...

I've got 48 mini-figures for £29 on the way, for kids birthday party favours and such like. (I may keep the best ones for my desk though.)

My kids are more Duplo aged, and to be fair, local eBay joblots have been a very successful hunting ground, so the Chinese Duplo holds little interest.

(I'm also banned from buying any more by the wife as we have about 10 cubic feet of the stuff.)

Indeed - however I waited 6 weeks for Susengo to deliver and received nothing - not even comms from them. Oodd as others ordered after me and got their goods?

Bit of a lottery it seems.

It came! Quite shocked at how many bricks there are, only opened a couple of bags to see the quality and mightily impressed. Sadly it will sit now until the house renovation is finished frown

Sent an email to Susengo on Monday and all of a sudden things started moving. Its arrived in the UK, £3 customs charge and is due for delivery today. So 10 days from order placement if things go to plan. Not too shabby. From shipping to delivery about 3 days.

Just received a message from DHL. They want £30 to cover Customs and Duty.
Invoice amount on the package is £15.43 (idiots - anything above £15 attracts Duty)
Freight charge : £73.32

"So, The Customs Value is 15.43 + 73.32 = £88.75.The VAT Value is £95.00. The Advance payment is 11.00 Pounds. The Total payable is 11.00 + 19.00 = £30.00"

Shocking. Anyone else had this level of cost?

I had the same thing on a Seiko divers watch and whilst i couldn't disagree with the VAT element, i called them up and they waived the advance payment. Might be worth a call?
