Currently looking at this as it seems to be the cheapest way of buying additional train track. You also get 4 trains thrown in.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Transportation-Bui...
you only get one - you have to pick the "color" to put it in your bag.https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Transportation-Bui...
Theoretically it might be possible to modify them for full remote control which would be nice.
As to regarding the track, It's about 1/3rd of the price of Lego.

Just had this message through:

Which seller did you order it from? I had a feeling the set is still not in stock since most seller on Aliexpress list it as a pre-sell item. The seller I bought it from isn't even replying to my messages that got me worried, anyone here bought from a seller "GGAM toy Trading Co., Ltd" ?"I'm sorry, This is pre-sale ?this product factory has not production is completed, All sellers no stock on the Aliexpress?Maybe need 1-2 week to finish,

yes, I've ordered from them and got one of 2 sets I ordered after 2 weeks. The other I emailed them about to ask them to extend the delivery time as they'd gone down the fake tracking number route but they never replied so I got refunded. Now that "extend processing time" is a thing I wouldn't worry about it too much.wark said:

WowHome TiffyHave you noticed that ordering via the mobile app is cheaper than on a desktop?

You suggest I just extend the processing time? I just hope they at least reply and tell me they don't have it in stock yet.thebojangles said:
Long time lurker of this thread, first time posting!
I bought the white DECOOL 911 so thought I would share some details.
Bought from AliExpress (seller: H&H Co Ltd)
Ordered Sunday 11th Dec
Arrived via DHL on Thursday 15th December!
No customs charges
Bags were individually packed in a cardboard box. No bubble wrap etc but all seems fine. The black & white picture sticker was a bit crumpled, but nothing serious.
As such, VERY impressed with the seller!
Some pictures below
Due to limited time, this is going to take me weeks to build!
Will answer any questions though if people have them
Still tempted by the Lepin Falcon or SSD, although I have nowhere to put either!!

Enjoyable so far putting it together with my lad - he loves it.
Quality is OK but not lego standard.
- One of the medium gears was miscast (gear splines way too tight in one axis) and the teeth ring split when putting on a shaft
- One of the angled technic beams is miscast and has the last hole of the beam missing(!)
All parts present so far - just done the basics - floorpan/gearbox and steering column/paddles.
It does take a while to find stuff, but there are lots of bags and you start to get a feel for which parts are where - like lego - but still worth trying to sort out the parts first to some extent.
Shame the stickers are not full copies - given its a knock off, not sure why they were so bothered, the GT3 logos are copied.
(Note I don't agree with knock off stuff as a rule - but could not see me ever spending Lego money on the Porsche GT3 so that is my lame excuse for giving this model a punt!)
I bought the Lepin modular Pet Shop - had already bought the Lego Brick Bank and Parisian Restaurant. No pieces missing, had the exact number of pieces for the build. Lego sets had a pile of spare bits and the Brick Bank was missing a few pieces which I had to request from Lego.
Quality is very similar to Lego, the hinge pieces used for the windows were a bit loose but once assembled seemed fine. Minifigures seemed fine once assembled. Delivery was very quick, I think 5 or 6 days after order. Instructions were fine except some of the colours were tricky to distinguish - dark grey and black were similar until you worked out what they were supposed to be. An extra challenge was finding the correct pieces - unlike the Lego sets which were in numbered bags - parts in bags but not separated out for each stage of the build like Lego.
Can't complain for the price differential though - only bought the Pet Shop after it had been retired by Lego so for just over 1/3rd of the price it's worth the money. Might get the Greengrocer next.

I was comparing some of the Lepin, Lele and Bela pieces with original Lego and the clutch power seems the same on the bricks. (Some of the hands in the arms seem to vary though - some are very tight and pop in with an audible click while others are fairly loose and seem to pull out fairly easily.)
Since all three of these brands I have experience with have felt noticeably oily to the touch (including leaving very notable finger prints on the flat parts).
Perhaps any clutch differences are based upon the mould release agent still being on the blocks?
I think Lego must wash all of their parts after they are released from the moulds at some point, as I have never really noticed mould release agent on Lego blocks.
I wonder how non-toxic these agents are? (certainly no more toxic than any silicone based lubricants we use on real vehicles, but we don't lube parts and then expect them to stick together well nor do we lube parts and then give them to kids - perhaps I will just wash all the pieces I get from now on and see if that makes a difference)

I'm just building Slave I, all going well so far but slightly disappointingly not all the red bricks are the same red. Most are dark red with a few (about 10 so far) being light red.
Frankly for a 6 year old it's not an issue but if it was intended for me it would annoy me far more.
Really tricky to work out what some of the colours are meant to be as well, in some of the instruction pages the light grey looks white while in others the dark grey looks light grey and as there are many multiple of the same shape bricks in different colours it makes it rather hard to work out which one to use.

I think something went wrong during production and those certain bricks you are talking about end up being light red instead of dark red. I might just end up ordering those pieces from bricklink to fix the issue.Frankly for a 6 year old it's not an issue but if it was intended for me it would annoy me far more.

just spent the entire evening opening all the bags and sorting the pieces into parts by colour. I'm hoping that when I start building it will make it enjoyable to make - e.g. looking for two light grey pieces, and I know the pile it should be in. Took ages though even though it doesn't look like it. I noticed one brick piece has been malformed.
Finally started my Decool gt3 last night!
Sorted most bits by colour, then sub divided by type, connectors, straights, everything else etc.
Generally it's great so far. A few badly cast bits, but no complaints so far. I bought the genuine sticker set too. The supplied ones were ok, but the random words thing bugged me.

Ordered Tantive IV a week ago, although the seller is only telling me now it's a pre-sale item and I need to extend the delivery time by 10 days.
Any reason I shouldn't? Since the kits have only just appeared on Ali Express I'm guessing it'll be the same with all sellers, although a few cheaper ones have since appeared so letting it self cancel is tempting...

I used H&H after asking for a recommendation on here. I'm happy with it so far!
I ordered the 911 and a motorised AT-AT, they 911 had 7 day DHL shipping, the AT-AT had 30 days! The seller put both in the same box and didnt charge me extra for shipping which was good. They also asked me to clarify my address as my postal town and county are mistmatched.
Edit... this one Look what I found on AliExpress
