Perfect order, arrived soon, and well packed. I did a fast check of the pieces, and didn’t found anything missing, but I have not built it, so I can answer 100% about missing parts and quality.

Set lepin 16002 seacow
Price 55.04
Seller GGAM Toy trading
Ordered 11-nov
Received NEVER
Review
I am very sad about this order. I had a 5 $ coupon for 11.11, and special coupons for that day. Some sellers include the shipping costs in the global price, while others add the shipping separately. That day the best price was in GGAM toy trading for 55.04, which was 15 € less than the second cheaper. Maybe the seller forgot to include the shipping costs, I don’t know, the case it was very cheap, and I bought it. The seller “ship” the item, and gave a tracking number. But the item didn’t came, and the tracking number was fake. I sent a message, but I had no answer. I tried to give the seller more time to send the item, but also, without answer. Before the time ran out I opened a dispute, and had my money back, but the time and the opportunity of 11.11 was lost. Another seller for my black list.

As a summary I add these data:
- The prices given are without coupons.
- I live in Spain (information for shipping times).
- No customs costs for now.

Good sellers:
- II think tank
- Gelida
- Huihui bags

Bad sellers:
- GGAM Toy trading
- Teng can

The cheapest sets compared with the original are licensed sets, like St4r wars, marvel, ... as this people doesn't pay licenses.

On the other side, the least profitable sets are the technic sets. The porche is an exception, because it is a licensed set.

Quality is good for a bootleg, but try to make it "easy" for Lepin, because in the special parts, motors, magnets, tires, you feel the bootleg quality. I don't advise to buy motorized sets.

Just wanted to drop in and say a huge hello from a very new collector of Lepin from sunny Scotland. Only bought my first kit last week from Aliexpress. My first Lego type kit in what must be 35 years. It came in under a week. Went for the Slave 1 as it was a kit I always wanted and with it being close to £200 was never going to own.

So I am about two night into the build and loving it. Using the official guide via PDF and I found it hard to work out the dark grey from the black etc.

Have ordered 8 new parts as a few bits (4 being large part) are in what looks like neon orange ?? Seems to be a common error with this set.

Going to try and post some pics.

Thanks.

Grant, thank you for the pictures. I did not realize how large the Slave I would be, but seeing minifigure with it for size really makes me want to get it.

Snap!

Although I don't think I'll bother swapping the bright red parts out given that it's for my son rather than me.

The eight parts came to a total of about 80p, Its the £3 shipping and handling that's the killer. Oh and your pictures not showing up Bud.

Bloody google photo's that is. "Share" a photo, check it works on an incognito page, post it somewhere and then it stops working again 2s later. WTF they could't have left us with picassa (which worked nicely for sharing photos).

Anyway, hopefully fixed now.

working now Bud and very nice it is too.

Right I have a Question for all you Lepin masters. I bought a kit from Aliexpress. Since it was only £35 it was shipped via ePacket. Was tracking fine in china up to the 11th then nothing.

Is that normal for this service. Can you track ePacket in the UK. How long should I expect to wait ? Put the order in on the 4th of Jan.

Oh and its the smaller Millennium falcon.

Thanks.

Try tracking it on 17track.net, that can show tracking in the UK (if it goes via a tracked service when its in the UK)

The ePacket I've had take over a month before. I ordered some minifigures tail end of November thinking they'd be here in time for Christmas and they didn't arrive until the new year!

Well I'm well pissed off with Dream House (re: Green Grocer). I cancelled the order (with reason taking too long) before they had done anything (was still awaiting payment verification for ages) and a day or two later they refused it. I then cancelled it again with a different reason (that I didn't want it) in case that was putting them off as affects their score.

Today that cancellation has again been overturned and they've now marked they've sent it. So my requests to cancel were overturned, and I can't cancel it at all now as they have marked it as shipped, and I can't open a 'dispute' until 10 days after the seller sends it. So it looks like I'm getting it like it or not (anyone want it if I do end up with two?). I am convinced they do not have it in stock hence why they were not actioning it. (I ordered it from Toy Factory after I first cancelled, so now I'm going to end up with two). bds.

I have to say I'm not really enjoying aliexpress. I can't understand why it's not more competitive amongst sellers - they all seem a bit random with their stock, prices, and response times / service.

Well this is a bit annoying. Two parts missing that are unusual so not something you would have lying around. Ordinary parts aren't so much of a problem.

I reckon lepin blocks, although excellent quality, are packed (counted) by hand by some poor labourers whereas lego is probably all done by machine. So therefore higher errors with the parts in the bags.

Anyone know what these curved parts are called to complete the windows, need to find some on ebay. They're a reddish brown.

Edit found it, 6091 curved top 1x2.

Edit again! - just ordered 5 new ones off ebay. Then found I was sitting on the damned things! laugh
