OMG ! That predator bust is so nice, but so big ! Do you have a warehouse just for your toys ? (I wish I had, my wife starts to complain about the invasion of the house by my toys ...)
Yea the Pred is 1/1 scale. I have a mancave/cinema room that's full of crap but also eight of those Ikea Deltof glass cabinets all over the house. To be honest I have ran out of room and started selling stuff. Sold a Sideshow premium format Mummy statue last week for £1500 so that's whats funded the lepin sets I have been buying, Oh and cleared the Credit card,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Doh !!!

Wow, we share the same passions ... I also have a man cave / home cinema room (I love movies on a big screen with good sound - I spent my childhood with Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Goonies ...). But it is not a cave, it is an attic ... lol. I also have Ikea detolf shelves, but only 3 (that is all I am allowed to have ... lol). Too many passions, not enough money, space ... Home Cinema, Lego (original and bootleg), Bandai Star Wars model kits, Gundam model kits (I live in Asia ...), RC Helicopters, Fishing, Motorcycle, Mountain Bike, Golf, Video Games ... and more ... My wife says she is living with a kid in an adult body ...

There are two more that are wrong but you can hardly see them. Two flat discs that sit in-between parts

This is it built with the orange parts. Would have bugged me.

The difference between men and boys is only in the price of the toys wink

I decided on waiting till after the Chinese holidays before I placed another big order from China.
To keep me going I bought this on ebay. I was shipped from china before the holidays started and arrived in 11 days by normal china epacket.
The prices on ebay for the set is all over the place ranging from the £9 I paid all the way upto £50.

I knew the smaller bricks were quite a bit smaller than lego/lepin as the kids have some nanobrick pokemon/angry birds models.
Overall I have just made a start at sorting the blocks out into more organised bags as they are randomly sealed very much like lepin.

The clutch hold is good, especially when you take into account the size of the blocks.
I am quite looking forward to the build but can see it being quite fiddly to say the least.
The instructions are just about passable but there are 11 steps for the entire build.
If the instructions were lego there would be at least double or more steps for the build.

Seeing this inspired Mr to get this model...off eBay but no doubt from China as it takes many weeks to arrive
May get some more white and clear blocks to make a bigger iceberg

Many thanks!

I don't think i'll mind the colour difference, but if i find it not to my tastes at least i'll have an excuse to rebuild it with my nephew smile

Right, got my tubs set out. About to start unbaging the Lepin Simpsons house. Feel a little intimidated by the sheer amount of bags. Anyone here built it or any other big set ? Need help.

I found egg boxes pretty good for my Caterham build. (770 pieces, lots of them quite wee.)

You just have to be patient, and expect it to be slow progress at the start, and speed up rapidly towards the end!

Been following various threads on this and the Lego/Leppin thread .Interested in buying the Porsche gt3 RS who are the best company to buy from as prices are all over the place and is it worth the hassle as customs duty seems payable in some cases but not in others .Or just bite the bullet and buy from a Uk store Smyths had the model for £146 last week now no longer available at this price John Lewis not at £169 is it really worth this over the Lepin one.

I open every bag and empty them out into various tubs. This time I have put similar shapes together but not worried about colours. E.g. Single width bricks grey and green all together (of various lengths like 6 or 8); whereas the shorter 3 & 4 length ones I have in their own tub. All flat joining bits in one tub; All smooth tiles together (all colours); one tub for weird bits; one tub for all window bits etc. I found sorting everything by colours (rather than type) didn't work so well.
