I want 2 X RC cars for messing about / Tamiya Mad Bull ?

I want a couple of RC cars to keep for when a mate comes over; have a local disused BMX track; the obvious choice to me is Tamiya Mad Bull; they have big enough tyres to cope with the rocks and stones and 'stuff' - if I buy two RTR - how will each receiver know is for which controller?

Any other suggestions other than Tamiya Mad Bulls? Looking at around £130 each with everything I need. Anything to look out for?

I love tamiya and have had and still have loads of them.

I would recomend traxxas - rtr in a box, most are nearly water proof and pretty bomb proof with loads of spares/hop ups available.
I regularly run a mini (1/16th) slash and summit with my 2 girls (4&6) and they take loads af abuse. Also ligjt enough and small enough to throw in a rucksack

Perfect for thrashing about with a lot of 80s nostalgia thrown in for good measure. Most modern radio gear is 2.4ghz so more than one can be run together with no issue.

OK, so as an RC truck, admittedly there are probably "better" cars/trucks out there, but Tamiya kits are nice to build and I happen to really like them!

I've ended up buying the Absima ATL1BL - it's the truggy version and brushless for less than £150... I read up about them and they seem great (and fast) starter trucks that are easily upgradable should the need ever arise. The brushed version is around £115. thanks again for the tips; gave me food for thought.
