Paired with something like this and you'll have a bargain - http://jadlamracingmodels.com/overlander-3300mah-7...
Any offers on any Tamiya kits Russy ?

Also do you offer any other stick transmitters than the Carson ones ? i know i'm being fussy here but I don't like the shape of them and just want something square smile as mentioned I can have my friends old Acoms Techniplus, but as someone said I may well be better off buying all new.

I am of the age where I had an original Hornet and a Monster Beetle back in the day. With my son recently turned 3 I decided last week to relive my childhood and get a Tamiya kit. A bit of research online to understand what would be the best car that is fast and stable for mixed use and I decided to get an early nineties homage that Tamiya have recently re-released. A quick trip to my local hobby shop saw me drop some cash on this little lot (for those considering it the long run 4600 battery is brilliant! Well worth the extra money)...

Two days later, after a bit of swearing & cursing, I had this...

I intend to do a custom paint job and some LED head/tail lights, which is why it's not been painted fully.

Here's a little slo-mo video of it on it's shakedown...

... and until the paint job and custom bits start in the new year I'm simply enjoying it with my son who is car mad...

Merry Christmas smile

Fantastic, I bought my 6yr old son a Grasshopper for Xmas....it proved robust the last couple of days, I am enjoying it as much as him.
