I presume you guys know they aren't a simple swap? All the connectors and all wiring is completely different between US and Euro cars. There's lots of info on this on other Mustang forums.

Yes I'm aware of what's involved there is a vid on YouTube somewhere of the red to clear conversion but not vice Versa. Shouldt be too hard.

Famous last words. biggrin

If it were that easy there would be a company somewhere banging them out. That should give you a clue as to how "easy" it is.

I didn't like the Euro tail lights at first, but they have grown on me so much that I now prefer them. Seems that these are becoming a popular mod for US owners too. I was going to tint mine when the car arrives but I think I'll stick with the clear! Especially on a silver or black car, but looks good on other colours too.

It literally took us about 45min. Thanks again for the swap and if anyone else is looking to do it just lookup the YouTube video and you can get it done quite easily.

Did that include all the necessary wiring changes as well? If so, that is good going.

Yea we used the stock us/uk plugs. You just need to pull them out with something narrow and plug them in the exact same way as on the picture.

Good job.

Unfortunately won't work the other way round as we're not allowed that kind of sequential turn signal plus ours have to be amber. frown

Yes, good job. Seems easy to go to EU style lights from US, but not vice versa. Centurion07, I think there is a way to get the sequential lights, Audis have this., I just do not know how. Obviously we cannot use brake lights for indicator/turn lights unless there are multi-colour LEDs that can be used?

IIRC the reason Audi's are allowed to have them is that theirs are a continuous LED strip, whereas the Mustang ones are 3 seperate lamps.

I don't know, however, if that's a UK regs issue or an EU one.

There is a company doing the conversions but I believe they fit a switch so come MOT time they can be reverted back to standard operation.

Anyone else looking to trade? I want to trade my US tail lights from a 2017 (S550) for your Euro tail lights.
