Hi all,

Been idly looking at the previous gen Quattroportes, ie the 2003-12 model. Having done my homework, I know to avoid a DuoSelect like the plague, which means a 2007-on car with the ZF auto. Now, decent looking ones of these are already down to £17-18k on Autotrader- the question is, how low do we think they will go?

My current daily is a V8 L322 Range Rover of 2005 vintage - so fuel use and bork are no new concept to me. When I start a proper job again in the summer, I'd be looking at keeping the RR maybe one more year before swapping for something else, and a QP really takes my fancy. However, I also need to take the depreciation of the RR into account - so question is, at what point do we think the relative curves of the 2 vehicles will align to cause me the least outlay in changing? I paid £10k for the RR 2 years ago with 90k miles, now with 120k miles but also a few desirable upgrades and overhauls I reckon its currently a 7-8k car.

I would be surprised if they went below £15k unless properly knackered.

There used to be a 2006 reg. QP parked outside Sheen Gate, Richmond Park. It was an auto. The very, very earliest auto QPs are 2006 cars.
