I can see that could be a problem - I hope I did it accurately enough, but at least on this model the hull side go up past the tabs and another strip forms the inner surface, so this would hide any gaps hopefully.

Should be OK then. The trawler I built just had railings around the rear and foredecks.

Yes all edge joins, but seemed to attach ok. Good tip using tissue for strengthening joints smile
