Hydrofoams

Anyone got one of these? Just come across them on the web and they look great fun. Are they difficult to 'fly'?

The fella that invented them is currently developing a kit IIRC. He was initially just doing plans but changed his mind, hence the delay.

That's the one...! I think that one is a copy of the original though...!

Look's like it's made from polystyrene which will just crack upon the first heavy landing. They should be made from EPP foam which can take a fair bit of punishment.

I've been close by when a mate lost radio contact with a R/C helicopter. Although the dent in the tarmac and the sheer scale of destruction was impressive, its not something I'd want to repeat with my own money and own hydrofoam.

There'd be a few test flights at about 1 inch above the ground before I attempted any decent flight!
