The Commodore looks superb. Not enough retro touring cars are produced in 1:18 IMO.

Focus RS500 looks ace too.

thebigmacmoomin, I hope you don't mind my asking but where did you get the Mk2 Golf model from, I've been looking for one for so long I'd almost given up! Just tried on Norevs website but can't see it?

The Golf is from here.

50euros + 7euros postage.

Its also exclusive to them aswell but be quick. The Mk2 Golf CL Norev made a little while ago was very popular.

It looks good to me. My only other Golf is a red Rallye made by Otto as thats resin not diecast so cant realy compare. I am pleased with it. I usually only buy Ford's.

Thought I'd have a dabble in 1:43 scale. So picked up these two Porsche 935's. They arrived today and cannot believe the amount of detail on these cars considering they're only 100mm Long x 45mm wide.

1. Truescale 935 K3 Coke Le Mans 1981

2. Spark 935 K3 Sachs Le Mans 1980

I'm really impressed with these models, so much so I've ordered another couple 935's.

I like those. 1/43 are appealing due to the cost factor and the ease of storage. Display cabinets are more viable, too.

Crumbs, it's intimidating to post in here with so much cool stuff on display! Is this the right place to post completed kits? I offered to build a kit for my mate and he requested a ’68 Charger in red with a white top, 426 hemi and a few war wounds. Well, I didn’t need telling twice (though as usual it took me ages to actually get round to building it). This is Revell’s 1/25 kit from 2008, a nice kit by Revell standards. I added a little wiring, a few fag packets and some dirt.

Certainly is, indeed early in the thread there were plenty of models people had built from kits but recently it has all been pre-built model cars. I love to see people's modelling skills smile
