What's the blue NSX NA2? Not seen that model before. Would quite like to add one to my collection.
It is made by HPI, absolutely fantastic, there is a few on Ebay but they are all in HK, buy it now at £37/$60 or best offer. I paid £50 and have a white Targa version arriving very soon. The coupe is available in Blue, Orange and Black. The Targa is available in White and Yellow. Better pics below.melvster said:

Just looking for something and came across this picture. It's a model of the Lotus Evora, issued to staff before the car's name had been announced. It's called simply "'08 Lotus" on the box, no mention of Evora.
We were given one each as we left the styling studio, where all staff went to see the car just before its launch and even we didn't know the name at that point, the cars had no badges on. We all found out at the launch, like everyone else - it was (and still is!) 'Eagle' to us after its project name.
I'm not sure whether they're rare or not - they may have sold a load like this but just thought it was interesting. Still got it in the cupboard somewhere, it's nice to have things like this that have memories attached
Just a few shots of part of my loco fleet, all are Atlas HO models detailed and relettered.
Alco RS 36 same 1800hp 12clinder engine as the RS 11 but updated control equipment.
Alco C420 2000hp 16cylinder engine.
Alco RS 11,my favourite and one of 4 on the R&W fleet

Nice locos, Bob. I really like the subtle weathering, it gives the right effect without being over the top. What did you use? I am starting to use Tamiya weathering sets, only done a little bit so far but they show promise.
+1If they were weathering powders I'd be interested to know what surface finish they were applied to (matt, satin or gloss)?
I find that a gloss surface isn't enough of a key to get the powder to stick, but a really matt finish can casue a rippled effect that exaggerates the roughness of the paint/varnish.
Nothing more than Humbrol straight onto the box fresh finish, start with awash of mixed matt black and leather I keep the paints unmixed until you apply so the shade always varies slightly.Once dry cotton bud dipped in thinners and squeezed almost dry to take of the paint of the flatter areas leaving the black/brown in the crevices. Then dry brush a shade of body colour thats lighter than factory finish, the blue loco was again a shade of Humbrol straith from the tin.Finish touching in rust streaks from the battery boxes and a little dry brushing black for soot streaks, then a coat of Dullcote matt varnish areosol. These Alco's were notoriuos for black sooty smoke because of turbo lag.Rust patches on wagons can be done using mixes of Humbrol red oxide and black with a small amount of talc on the brush tip.
