Not models, but diecast. Found in a bag, in a box, where they must’ve been for over 20 years...

L-R - 260ZX, 911 Turbo, Silver Shadow II, Stratos, Mk2 RS2000, Firebird, 928

All, apart from the Stratos seem in good nick. I’ve got one of my son’s cars to add - BMW 3.0 CSL before it gets wrecked smile The RR Corniche didn’t fair too well though... frown
Nice. You'd be surprised how much some of those could be worth. I just like hanging on to things like that.

Cheers, here's another couple of 'arty' shots. I'm going to take some colour ones at the weekend

Finally managed to finish a model I’m happy with woohoo

There was a 1/48 scale, spitfire shaped hole in my collection. There are so many 1/48 spitfires available, which would I choose?

To my mind the best and my favourite mark as well..

The build only took around ten hours or so and here are the results.

Nice work, but clipped-wings on a Spitfire look terrible.

Looks lovely and whereas the iconic elipses may have been lost, the profile is stunning.

My Delorean DMC 12 from polar lights

A terrible old style snapfit kit so I decided to go old school for a one day build.

No airbrush or fancy masking. All brush painted like I used to do as a youngster.

Not a bad days work.

The body comes in that finish, so the most difficult bit is done really. The rest are just standard acrylic paints.

Still on with this. Have put it away for summer but hopefully come the dark nights I can do final touches and adjustments and it's ready for opening day smile

It was done in a day with no special paints, materials or techniques. I’d go as far to say anyone could easily replicate it.
The kit is cheap as chips too. I saw it for $25 last week in the US.

I wonder what the story behind that is.
It must have been a commission.

5000 hours build time! based on a 40 hour week that's nearly 2 1/2 years.
