Meng “toon tank” m26 Pershing
Might make a diorama base at some point. Super fun kit with no issues apart from I should have put the tracks on before assembling the hull as they are supplied as one piece rubber bands and I ended up having to cut them. My fault tbh but would’ve made it hard to paint otherwise.

Over 50 years ago I built one for my then fiancee, who loved them. I did a great job on it (by my standards - nowhere near as good as this one !!) even painting the hidden engine parts. Her mother binned it when we got married Rule 1 for tyres - never use black! Even if they're meant to be absolutely pristine, a very dark grey is better. And the treads need to be slightly lighter than the sidewalls.
Also remember that mud gets wiped off the treads the moment you get back onto tarmac, but it hangs around on the sidewalls until you clean them.

Yeah I’ve only really made 1/72 planes so far so the tyres have been tiny. I built the same M20 as above though and black was too stark. Also remember that mud gets wiped off the treads the moment you get back onto tarmac, but it hangs around on the sidewalls until you clean them.
I’ve bought some of the Tamiya rubber tyre colour to try next

Finished the Tamiya 1/12 Ducati Panigal. Managed to loose some of the tiny screws that hold the fairings on, so only one side attached.
Only aftermarket were the Tamiya front fork set and some carbon fibre decals.

Treat yourself to a glasses repair screw set from Amazon for a few quid and never worry about losing screws from Tamiya bike kits again

That's the figures painted too now, just the Sten gun to add to the rider.
I haven't figured out how to do anything with their eyes yet.
I'm pleased with how the kit has turned out.
Something with tracks next!
Try to get dots in middle of eye for straight ahead.. For sideways both on left side or right side
