Mr EagleMoto4-2, Sir, this 1/8 scale model must be 50-60 cm in length, I imagine?
Is it quite detailed? Can you kindly share some pictures of interior, engine bay etc?
And lastly, where can purchase a 1/8 scale model and what is approximate price range?

Pocher 1/8 kits have been around for a while. The old F-40 kit is long discontinued I believe, although you may find a pre-owned ready built one if you hunt around. Current kits like the Lamborghini Aventador are costly at around £500 but incredibly detailed and by most accounts better quality than some of the older kits.

I have the Airfix Type 45, it's a nice kit.

I'd like to build an MTB at some point too, I'm thinking about the Italeri Vosper 72.

None, what are they? I think the jag was used in an Austin Powers film but I've never seen any of those.

Yes, long discontinued but you see them pop up on eBay once in a while. It is about those dimensions. It isn't as detailed as one would imagine for such a large model. A lot of the hoses and wiring for the engine weren't included with the kit. The engine itself and the cockpit are quite well detailed. I painted both to make them look more realistic. A few years ago I noticed an online company selling a detailing set for the F40 but it cost approx £1000! Included much improved suspension and brakes, all sorts of engine details, metal parts and photo-etch sets. I had neither the disposable cash or time to warrant its purchase though!
I will get some more shots of the interior for you.

Some petrolhead...

The Challenger was from the 1971 cult classic car chase movie Vanishing Point with Barry Newman. The Mach 1 Mustang was from H.B. Hallicki's 1974 Gone in Sixty Seconds, a self written/directed/produced/starred in car chase movie about a professional car thief, and the modified Shelby GT500 was from the late 90s remake with Nicholas Cage.

laugh Scoff you may well do but I don't go to the cinema much and I don't really watch films on TV. Not that a knowledge of US films & actors makes a petrolhead, I like driving my cars wink

I need to slow down the rate at which my odometers spin round. I've put 10k on my Cerbera in 2 years of non-use, 15k on my XFR-S that was new last spring and 11k on my pickup which was new in January, plus about 10k on each of the older Jags each year. I should spend more time watching movies! laugh
