Help please a good airbrush for a beginner.
Discussion
Anyone know anything about Olympos (note the spelling) airbrushes? I was given one for free last night at my model club. It's a dual action brush and dates from 1986. It is made in Japan.
It was given away because it doesn't work at the moment. I think a good strip down and clean might sort it out.

Wow, some good stuff to go on there guys, thanks for all the responses. DR-GN, yes I have posted some pics of my models on here before. Thanks for the comments, obvious Im not in the same league as some of yours, but i try to do them as well as i can with the tools and time I have available!
I might invest in some propellant, some IPA and then give it a go. Probably wont risk it on a model just yet but would like to try it out so will practice on some old plastic parts i have lying around. I'll report back and let you all know how we get on!

They are easily as good, if not better than mine: most of the recent stuff I posted on here have been fairly strightforward aircraft models, your bikes are more complex. With an airbrushed finish they would be pretty much faultless. The best advice is to practice with it.Gassing Station | Scale Models | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
