Sorry, yup I see that now.
my concern is because of the construction and weight, I'm simply adding too much weight to the aircraft and as you know, that in itself causes problems.
A 40" cub or similar is the way to go I think!
What's they flying weight of the model and what's the weight of the camera?my concern is because of the construction and weight, I'm simply adding too much weight to the aircraft and as you know, that in itself causes problems.

ETA, calculate the wing loading by dividing the balanced weight with and without the camera by the wing area. If it's not too different then you should be fine.

Fitted my muvi cam to a hobbyzone cub last year and had some quite good results. The cub had already been upgraded to lipo and ailerons fitted I think the power from the stock plane was marginal to say the least and even the lightweight cam would have been too much for it to carry. This year Ive had it fitted to a seagull spacewalker with bags of reserve power. Again I have difficulty mounting the cam out of the prop arc but still maintaining a forward view. Most of my vids are 5 to 10 mins long and will take ages to upload to youtube also boring as hell if you dont know our flying field. I will find a short one to post. Maidened the panther the other day bit tail heavy and bloody quick Will try a few more flights before putting the cam in it
Took a short vid this morning with the muvi cam mounted in the front cockpit of the seagull spacewalker EP. Gives you some idea of its capability http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=754tpGBb7eE
