We also have a fantastic off road bashing area, not quite big enough for international events but great for clubs and general carnage.
Is this mentioned anywhere on your site, i can not see any info on this. Are there pictures?

Hi Hedders,

Thanks for the question, if you look on our experiences, the 3 tracks are explained, don't scroll down just hover on the top page, also look at us on facebook via the link also on our site.

It is a boys toys dream, we have our own car park, and we are talking about a PH day and people can show their cars(100%).

We overlook the bridge complex at Silverstone, so you are in the heart of motor-sport, nothing better than leaving the house to race at Silverstone, it does give you a sense of occasion.

Have a look, we have just changed the indoor track, more flowing, also we have permanent pits, with electricity and clinical lighting, all you need is your gear, less battery and tables and chairs.

We charge £10 for a tuning session, this is either, am or pm, on any or all the different circuits.

Thanks, but i still can not see any info or pictures that suggest you have an off road/bashing area. I strongly suggest you put something up smile

"AUTOSPORT TRACK 2

The off-road circuit is scuplted and desgined to showcase the very best in all forms of off-road motorsport. Moto Arena will be acquiring a 2-acre field in close proximity to the main building for us to use for large-scale, off-road rally cross and other forms of model motorsport which require much larger footprints.

This will also be used for outdoor flying competitions and events. A shuttle bus will link the main building to our outdoor facility."

On the experiences page, with photos, and we have over 200 photos on our facebook, if you look at this you will find them,

Soon we will also have a world class off road area, 2 acres. As above.

Definitely interested in a PH r/c meet. I have a whole bunch of vintage Tamiya runners that would be great fun. Mostly off-road, but a couple of mental fast on road cars too.

Oh, and an Ansmann Royal Flash that does 70mph... whistle

I bought one of those for a mates kid, it needed a better motor right out of the box, even for a kid hehe

Yeah, I bought the whole shebang from local Modelzone as it was only £30 more to get the fully assembled model with transmitter, receiver, battery, charger etc. than the kit. Transmitter and charger went straight on ebay, 3.5T brushless motor went in (with strengthened mounts etc.) and off to the park. It's nutty. You can be doing 40mph then hit full throttle and it still backflips. Having trouble with pinions though. They won't stay on the shaft.

All we need now is for brushless motors to make a better noise, I miss Nitro for the noise and smell. These brushless motors are quite incredible though...

I love brushless electric precisely for that reason - it doesn't sound like I'm raping a lawnmower or trying to steal a chav's scooter. I can run my cars on the Common near me which is a SSSI and not annoy anyone with the noise, pollution and smell. Also I don't get covered in sticky crap and I can turn up and start running, rather than having to bugger about with it for 20 minutes.

With cheap LiPo batteries the main reason I used to run petrol/nitro has gone as well - that you could just refuel and keep going. In practice you had to let it cool for a while anyway. With a 4000mAH LiPo pack I get a good 12-15 mins running on the Royal Flash, more on things like my brushless LunchBox or Integrale. And I have 8 of them, as well as number of other random capacities.

You have a point about the noise being a problem for others i suppose. I got a little mini E-revo because it is quiet so i can use it in the garden, the nutty little bd is really too fast for such a small space though hehe

The 'problem' is, it is so convenient and it is probably faster and more durable than any of my (more expensive) nitro vehicles, so they probably are now all consigned to a life on a shelf in the shed!

I really should just sell them all...
