Look out for cool new toy. It is called a j car. It is a helicopter and a car. Maybe a bit too much of a toy. Around £40

You need to start off with a contra rotating blade model, I can vouch for the Twister bell

http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/shopexd.asp?i...

For your 1st flights keep the tail towards you, don't chase the trim (think how'd you behave with a tank slapper, gentle control and don't over compensate) and once you get a few feet off the ground you won't have ground effect (rotor wash) so things will be a little easier to control.

Word of warning, be careful with Li-po batteries, they can be prone to swelling and there is a small explosion risk if they get overloaded. Mine get transported in a ammo box.

If you've bought a model with 3D capability I can assure you your 1st flight will be very short wink Any questions and I'll do my best to answer

it looks fun...yeah I agree but not the sort of thing you'd want to be seen playing with biggrin a it like a fat lass or a moped

I'm soooo out of my depth with 6ch...I think my Ebay account should be linked to a USB Breathalyser lol

In the cold light of day it looks like I may have been better just lighting the fire with £20 notes than trying to master the new "toy"

Would you like to borrow a blade mcr so you can practise?
Weighs nothing, indoor only but dead easy and will give you the knack or orientation?

Happy to post with radio gear batteries and the like if it's of interest??
