..and i have my eye on a few others frown
LOL, you are hooked for sure! There's no going back now. Nice choice of cars.

The temptation to me would be to hop up the manta ray to top force spec as most parts are still available on ebay (some of the DF02 parts fit like CVD driveshafts, alloy shocks, etc!)

And Fibre-Lyte do a few carbon parts too at very reasonable prices !

very hooked!
Fibrelyte are very good. £15 minimum order though, not that it's been a problem for me so far!

Thats it then - the Lunchbox has now been ordered from Wonderland, should be delivered tomorrow.

I'll somehow have to wait until boxing day to get it built though (will be a test of my patience), as I'll only be seeing my son on the morning of christmas day. Thankfully there's not a chance that either him or his mum will try to build it.

  • eta* - I can't thank all on here for the advice, been truly invaluable.

Looks like I might be getting a Tamiya Hornet for Christmas now smile I remember when they first came out and I wanted one so badly. In the end I got a Tamiya Wild One for my 15th Birthday which was brilliant but they havent been re released which is a shame.

I cant wait for the trip down memory lane when I get to build the Hornet.

It'll be interesting.

Wonderland are based in Edinburgh. Which is slightly snowed under. The kit hasn't left the blasted depot .... at least there's plenty of time for the weather to clear up.
