new sticks wanted

been out of rc for about 18 months or so, am looking for a half decent set of sticks 2ch, bought a acoms 2.4 wheel set a while ago, just could not get on with that rubbish!
Its for a 4wd electric of roader, just a simple stick set, any ideas without spending hundreds? should i look out for second hand? and also a good servo would be nice.
Oh and something i can get extra recievers for to put in other cars!

The two most popular are the KO Esprit 3 Universe and the Futaba 3VCS - both available in 2.4g.
Both may well be out of your budget new, but check out sites like oOple.com for secondhand - I bought my KO with Spektrum module and 3 receivers for £250 off there a couple of years back so you may be lucky.
In terms of new, I haven't seen one, but they've had good write ups. is the Core RC 2.4g set

£90 for a new set with receivers about £35 each.
I think there's a couple of other brands out there which are basically the same as the Core for similar prices.
If you don't want 2.4g then the Sanwa Gemini is pretty good or a KO Esprit 2 - but I would stay with 2.4g it's fantastic!
