Best petrol off road truck or buggy?
Discussion
I have recently bought a Traxxas Slash 4x4 Ultimate - lovely bit of kit, though due to the inclement weather I have only used it once as I really can't be bothered to risk slithering to my usual bashing ground in the 'Stang.

On the stock 4200mAh 8.4v cell and gearing it is quicker than the nitros I had (Savage and a Rambo), it is well built too. Though it has one design flaw small stones can get into the space between the chassis and the driveshaft effectively making a driveshaft lathe, the pro-line under tray I have ordered is a worthwhile investment I think. The supplied 2.4GHz radio is good and only needs x4 AA batteries! I got almost 30 minutes out of the 4200mAh pack on a road near me where I was driving it, that came with the car.
Buy one you’ll love it.

Yeah saw your write up matt, what about fast chargers and where to buy?
Most model shops will carry them, you will want a delta peak charger for the NiMh batteries, a full charge at 3A will take around 2 hours.LiPo packs I can't help with as I have no experience with those at present.
