ive got myself a grille drawn up that i want cutting from thin metal

someone mentioned that some of the modeling magazines have ads for folk that can cut model size items

anyone got any mags they check for ads ?

Depending on scale, I'd think you'd want photo-etch rather than laser or water jet cutting.

I have used thin sheet copper in the past to make grills etc. You can paint/mask the wanted areas and etch the copper from the waste areas using ferric chloride.

Never used them but may be worth a punt.
