Is this the most expensive model car?

Why's it so pricey?

Mind boggles wobble

It's only expensive when someone pays that amount!
For that price, I'd expect a handbuilt working tiny engine.

Completely ruined by the giant screws holding the perspex screen on!

What an absolutely atrocious model. Some people just haven't got a chuffing clue.

Seemed surprising to me!

Some of the other models on their site are eek too!

Cheap in comparison to the Ferrari but even so...

Way too expensive for what it is. I've seen £40 Tamiyas made better.

A pretty piece of nonsense

worth is what you would pay for it

I wouldn't pay much for this, even if Alain Prost had built it

Well it's nice, but for that money it would need to be UBER-nice.

Those screws alone ruin it for me.

The Lambo is a bit better but there again, nowhere near special enough to justify the price.

That loks pretty rubbish IMO, what is going on with the screws and that nut and thread where the air valve might be on the wheels?

DR_GN could do a far better job with a £30.00 Tamiya kit

Thanks for the compliment, but I think a lot of people could do better with a Tamiya 1:12 kit of the Ferrari 641/2. Even built OOB, the windscreen, wheels, tyres, seatbelts and bodywork would be far better. Does it even have engine detail?

My 1/12th scale Tamiya version is just as good - only cost me £100.00!!

Those Andy Mathews ones look like they could almost be tiltshift of a real car, pre first fire up of the engine. The other model looks like the builder got so far then lost patience and rushed the last bits.

Looks like he superdetails standard Tamiya 1:12 cars rather than builds them from scratch. I can't see any that aren't from that range. It would explain why most of the body panels are way too thick to be correct for that scale.

Getting material scale thickness may mean the material isn't actually strong enough to take forming or support its own weight.
