1/5th Petrol What Should I Buy FG, MCD or HPI

Hi All,

Just decided to take the jump into 1/5th petrol after having several years in Nitro, i have noticed there are 3 main contenders in the market place FG, MCD, and HPI.

As they all cost aprox the same, £1000 bracket i was wondering if anybody can give any input as to which is the best choice, i was thinking of Spektrum radio equipment as i have used this for a few years now.

Any views and opinions are greatly apreciated.

They all do the job fine, just depends how much you want to spend or if you want to race in a certain series.
I assume because of your history with nitro you already realise you are going to spend sill money upgrading the basic car whatever anyway lo

fg 4wd and mcd racerunners and cheetahs are very good on the track if u intend to race them not alot of upgrading needing

hpi baja is good for bashing about but not for racing

fgs and mcds are also good for bashing

i have both the fg 4wd baja and the new leopard 2 as my race car this year
