My mum has dented her front wing. I can pick one up in the right colour for about £50 on ebay, which will be much cheaper than a fill and respray.

What's involved in replace a wing? Is it just bolted on or welded?

It's a 2000 car, 1.4.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I'm aware they are a bolted on job. Should'nt be welded.

It`s bolted on chum, easiest job in the world biggrin

I changed stroppys wing on her previous 206 in about 10 minutes having never done it before. Found one in the right colour at a scrappys for £25.

Open the bonnet and the door and remove all exposed bolts (13mm I think), then simply lift off (don`t forget to pop out the side repeater and unclip it). New one on, bolt it all up, clip and connect the repeater back in and Bob`s your Mothers Brother biggrin

I have tried changing the wing, but was not successful,
removed the Two bolts under the bonet
removed one behind the front light(had to remove the light to undo it)
but still could not remove the wing,
Do i have to remove the wheel and the innner arch cover , to change the wing?

yes, remove wheel and arch liner, one bolt connected to bumper.normally rust so may need a molegrips to hold the top clip when you turn the nut.and another bolt under the bottom of the wing by the sill.hope thats helpful.
