Long time member re-registering.

Have read PH since 2004 and had a multitude of cars, exciting and mundane.

I took delivery of my new RCZ last Tuesday.

It's a 3 month old ex demo car.

Spec is:

Mk 2 156 THP GT
Mercury Grey
Black Integral Leather interior (Leather Dash as well as seats and door cards)
Vision Pack (Tyre Pressure Sensors & Xenons)
Black Pack (Roof Arches, Mirrors, Callipers in black)

It's just done 1,500 miles (I've done 1/3 of those)

Very happy with it so far, bit different from my Peugeot 508's that preceeded it.

I shouldn't, but will admit to thinking these are a very good looking car. The RCZ-r looks like it'd be a fun proposition if they weren't so overpriced, though that only adds to their rarity!

I'd never pay full price for one, mind you I've never paid full price for any car.

I like them. Do the headlights have a slightly blue tinge to them?

Is that 156bhp? Seems quite low.

It's got xenons fitted.

It is the 156 yes, would have loved an RCZ_R with 270 bhp, but it wouldn't have worked well with my pence per mile from my employer.

Beautiful - the thinking person's Aldi TT.

Those door mirrors look just the same as those on my DS3. . .

Cool smile I must be somewhat uneducated on new car releases... saw a friend today looking at getting a Nissan Quasqai 1.2! In a massive car like that, didn't know it was doable.

I know what you mean. The idea of 1.0 engine in a Ford Focus does take some getting used to. I've done just over 500 miles so far in it and I'm very pleased with it.

It does get looked at an awful lot oddly it's probably on a par with our old Tamora 9 years ago when it comes to people looking and asking questions about it.

I did look at Audi TTs as there were some excellent deals on the outgoing car. The RCZ is a bit bigger than the TT especially in the width department, but ultimately I did personally prefer the looks of the MK2 RCZ over the outgoing TT.

I like that a lot!

Wasn't keen on the original, but the facelift looks spot on...

Looking at the interior shot I'm pleased to see that even at the very top of the range they have resisted the temptation to plaster the steering wheel with buttons & stuck with the standard PSA column stalks - much more logical & easier to operate.

Looks lovely! First one I've seen that isn't white. The facelift looks great in grey too.
