Hi all, took my Xsara VTS in for a "controle technique" in France (equivalent of an MOT) and it failed on emissions.

The reading is as follows:

C0 1.12
Acc 3.08 (think this was ok?)
Lambda 0.910

I think the fail was for the Lambda and the C0 readings.

Where do I start to try and fix this for the re-test?

I think the Cat is OK as it is fairly recent and a genuine citroen cat. Had it on about 3 years/ 15k miles and no signs of it blowing.

Thanks.

Well I would start with a lambda sensor, or if you have diagnostic check to match sure it's working, it's the cheapest thing to try.

Make sure there are no small leaks, blows. These are enough to affect lambda. Also make sure everything is up to temperature before you get there and if you can ,leave it running until they do the test
