Hi,

Ok it is a long shot but I seem to have a sill full of water judging by the sloshing sound when I accelerate and brake.

I can't see any drain holes in the sill - should there be? Is this a common fault?

Anyone have any ideas short of drilling a hole!

Thanks.

I`m pretty sure there are drain "slots" along the seam ? have a poke about with a screw driver.
If no luck drill a hole, jack it up to drain the water all out then squirt loads of wax oil in.

Thanks for that. Well I managed to find the channel buried under a load of gunk and got a screwdriver into it....which was dry?

Where on earth is the sloshing sound coming from?

Does it have a sunroof?

Could be a door with blocked drain holes.

Hi,

Thanks. No sunroof and I have checked the door. As of today I also have an ecu fault so at the moment I just want to scrap the bloody thing.

I will keep looking. I think perhaps another dig around the sill at the weekend.
