Cheers. Really enjoying it!

Threw all my dive kit in the boot for a new years day dive and had to pack it all out to stop anything rolling about. In the 172 the seats would have been down and it would have still been rammed full of kit.

No regrets so far but I did see the 172 up for sale at a local dealer and got all nostalgic. If we had space on the drive Id not have sold it. Over 100k of fairly trouble free miles and 3 of the 8 years it did a cracking job as a small but fun family wagon. You don't need something as big as a laguna estate for family duties but it does make things so much easier!

So far so good with my GT Coupe! Rather dirty though.

^ that looks great. Would have thought renault would have designed the filler cap better though. What is it? V6? Also is the bose any good? On the hunt for the sub for mine.

Yeah I agree with the filler cap - looks like an afterthought. Mine is the 180bhp GT Diesel, It's a bit rattly when cold but refined enough when warm. The 4 wheel steering is great, handles very well for a big heavy car. Bose stereo is great one of the best I've had in any car.

I've had mine for over 2 years (it's the Monaco GP DCi 180).

Hasn't missed a beat (apart from a wiring loom issue fixed under warranty), it's reasonably quick for what it is, early 40's MPG and I like the fact I never see another on the road

Is the Laguna 3 any good?? Not this afternoon!

Had a blow out on the n40 just outside Ostend. Was on a cheap ferry deal and on my way to Brugge with my 3 year old daughter. Tyre shredded. Michelin Primacy 3.

As soon as I realised I had a flat I realised I'd have a problem getting a tyre in Belgium on a sunday afternoon.

st. Kicking myself for not getting a spare sorted since picking up the car in December. Still had a nice enough extended stay exploring ostend.

Got to go back tomorrow and pick the car up from the recovery co. The aa where great about it, but feel I'm about to get done for a new tyre.

I picked this up 3 weeks ago....

Everything was fine until 9 days later it threw up a Check Cruise Contol/Check Speed Limiter/Check Injectors error and went straight into limp mode.
I had the wife and kids in the car over 100 miles from home, so it was a quick call to the dealer who arranged for the AA to take us home. Turned out it was the DPF Sensor which was replaced under warranty.

The dealer gave me a 64 plate Insignia SRi for a couple of days. The engine in the Vauxhall was excellent, but almost everything else was inferior to the Laguna. The automatic handbrake is much nicer to use in the Laguna. The dash isn't as busy. I just felt that the Insignia was trying too hard and not getting anything quite right. Nice engine, but apart from that I was happy to get back in the Renault.

We got the Laguna to replace our 56 plate Scenic. So far it has impressed. If it can live up to the 8 trouble free years the Scenic gave us then we'll be very happy.

Glad you got it sorted.

After getting stranded in Belgium I got myself a spare. I thought I found a bargain off eBay (below) £10 for the rim but found it didnt fit. The bores are slightly different between the mk2 laguna and mk3. So another £30 saw me a brand new 16 inch Renault rim. The alloys are 17s. Forgot to take a pic of this one but as you can see it fits fine under the boot floor.

I got a genuine renault boot mat too. That cost more than the steely!

I got the buckle taken out of the alloy at Lepsons in Gillingham. Highly recommend them! Car is running nice and smooth again now.
