Hi, has anyone got a fix for this issue? I have just bought a Renault Megane Sports Tourer GT Line and I am having the same issue. I can be driving along and go to change the radio channel and it just says searching but never actually finds the new channel (even though they I have preset them all). I can press the mute button (as if to get rid of a trafffic report) and the exisiting radio station comes back on (i.e. the one I was listening to) but I can't change to a new one.

Turning the car off and leaving it for a while seems to correct it but it soon happens again. I am just about to contact the dealer to see if there has been an update and to see if they can fix it but if anyone else can shed some light on it (without taking the car apart) it would help greatly when calling the dealership. Thanks

I also bought a new Scenic May 2015, and and have the same or similar problems with the radio. The radio locks up after receiving RDS traffic information and then unable to change channels either manually or via pre-set buttons and remains on the current station irrespective of what you do. A switch off and back on does nothing either, and the radio remains in this state until another RDS traffic report is received and the radio returns to normal.

If the RDS traffic is turned off permantly in the menu then the radio performs faultlessly. My local dealer told me this is a know problem and is listed on the own data base, and I was given the following information from their system.

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Radio software fault.

DIAG: On receipt of a customer complaint

AFTER-SALES SOLUTION:

Do not replace any parts, a solution is currently being investigated, planned for the first half of 2015.
Explain to the customer that I-traffic messages must not be blocked prematurely using the mark command [4] but using the "Back" mark command [13] (See attached doc.).
If necessary, refer to the radio user manual with the customer in order to completely disable the I-traffic function.
If the fault is present, switch the radio off and on again to return to normal operation.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION: In progress, planned for 15/09/2015.
