So my Dad bought this a few weekends ago, its one of very very few cars I've seen him get excited about. Apparently its one of two left in the country. A Renault 17 Gordini with one owner. it'll be restored and back on the road. Pretty excited for him really, he used to be a Renault mechanic in his younger years.

That is bloody lovely!!!

1st post of this forum, thought this might be of some interest

P2 1990 Peugeot 309 GTI 3dr. Fitted with a 16v Mi16 about 15 years ago. Bought last year from a guy who had owned it for 11 years, 5 of which was laid up in a garage unused. Had to do a fair amount of recommissioning and 'de-modifying' but now it's running nicely and i'm making the most of getting some miles in.

Plans are to replace the tired Bilstein suspension and maybe raise it slightly, fit Speedline SL434 and eventually fit throttle bodies.

I love it! It was my favourite Matchbox car when a kid - don't know why.

I had a 1976 Ph1 R17 Gordini in 1983. Not surprised only two left now. What a great thing to restore.

Both your clio and 205 look like superb examples.
