Well pleased with this. Have to run it in, but it makes you feel like a race car driver. The recaro seats hug you, the gear change feels solid. Doesn't feel cheap. The Liquid Yellow is a bit in your face, but it does shout, I'm a bit special.

What I also like is the fact that the RS only comes in a coupe, no mistaking it for a standard car.

I used to drive this

That looks fab. Don't see many about. Quite fancy one of these myself - are there good deals on these at the mo? I could also be tempted for a Cup with Recaro's.

Not sure. I ordered mine in December. That was when they had the no deposit and interest free. I also got a good deal too.
I think the cup chassis and recaros are the minimum options you should go for. Don't get me wrong, the cup chassis is firm. If you plan on simply trundling around, save your money. However, plan on driving fast and occasional track use then get it. The same applies to the seats. If you are getting in and out regularly, go for the standard seats.

I drive mostly at weekends, it's not a 'daily' driver, so I think I can enjoy it more.

Some may say different.

Your new car looks great! Good luck with it, your old car doesn't look half bad either, I think I may have seen it in the Renault London West car park today?

Stunning. Got any pics of the interior?

Do find myself looking at the 275 Trophy's a lot.

Good choice. You'll love it. I've had my 250 from new for nearly 5 years. Renault really got it right with this generation of Megane.

Had my 250 Cup for a month now.

Great so far, I use it everyday so got one with the sports seats.

Its actually a good cruiser as well...

Sound sytem is truly awful though.

Coming from a Lexus, which had a Mark Levinson sound system, this system is ok.

The recaros are quiet comfortable, when you get used to them.

The Renault is nice but the Lexus is awesome. Why the change?

5 litre V8 to a 2 litre four... Not sure I could do that myself!

I simply fancied a change. The ISF was great, but you could not really exploit the power. I took it on a track and it was fabulous, the engine sound was something else, but it was very heavy. There is no point in using the paddles unless your gunning it. One flick of the paddle and your doing 60mph!

I wanted to drive a manual again. The Megane suits. It is a drivers car, I don't need to compromise, so the others like Golf, Ford etc can't match. Also, there is no mistaking this for the bog standard car. When you see one you you know it is RS not a diesel estate agents car.

How much did you let the IS-F go for, if you don't mind me asking?

Almost exactly why I am swapping from an Evora to one. Although it wasn't heavy it was too fast for the road. I know it sounds a bit stupid to say but if you gave it the beans, in 10 seconds, you'd be a speeds that you'd be locked up for. Alos felt a bit wrong to rag it around a track, just too lovely and too nice. Grown up hot hatchback it is for me!
