Overall official sales data:

1513 230's.

1309 255's.

Most were sold in France, UK was the second biggest market.

I suspect there were more 255's than are listed in the offical data.

A more interesting question perhaps would be how many are left

Particularly as the relatively low values (albeit on the rise) in the UK have seen a few leave these shores in recent years for mainland Europe where values are much stronger. And that's before looking at written off cars....

Other than my own car or at an organised gathering, I think I've only ever seen a couple of Vee's in the wild since they were first released.

Yes its interesting how values are higher on t'continent. It's pretty much always the other way round. I suppose the French love them to bits.

I'm looking for a Phase 2 car, ideally a late one on a 55 plate. Anyone know of anything that is not being advertised? PM me if you prefer.

You will find it very difficult to get one on a 55 plate as very few were registered that late. The task will be made harder as oddly most sit on personal plates.

You'd be best getting on v6clio.net and post up what you are looking for. There are a few members on there that always seem to be aware of non-advertised cars up for sale.
